A knock at my door interrupted my beauty sleep, I rushed to the door and gasped when I saw my father, he never comes to my room only on rare occasions, he always sends for me "Good evening dad" I greeted in fear, what does he want, did I do something wrong, is something wrong with mother, why is his eyes fiery did I, I was interrupted when I noticed he was looking at me "Did you understand" he asked "Yes sir" I answered confused "Good because if I don't get that endorsement, forget about that nursing nuisance you want to study, put Lyon to shame and I will keep to my own part of the deal, if you don't we both lose but yours will be more grievous, so if you know what is good for you just get me what I want, for your own good" He stressed and left Sinking on my bed I know I was dead already, I know I wasn't a match for Brad, he is a legend in this field and am just me, I didn't know when the tears started falling, where is my mother why did she abandon me, she promised to come back its been 10 years now but she isnt here who do I run to now, is this how my life will be? The tears kept on falling in torrents
