The Devil's Incarnate - Introduction
"Shoot him" She ordered and Mayowa shook his head.
"I-i can't.."
"You don't have a choice, Mayowa. Remember that I own your filthy life, and I can take it at will. Sadly, I can't give it back. Shoot" her voice rained bullets and knives on his body.
"I- I don't know how!" Mayowa cried, tears pouring down his cheeks and his hand shook furiously. She stared at him as he continued to cry.
"It funny how you learn things when you put your mind to it" she said like they were chatting about the weather.
His breath hitched when he heard the familiar cocking of her gun, he looked and her gun was pointed straight at him.
Her hold on the gun never wavered, not like his . The gun shook in his hand and he almost dropped it.
"Five" she counted and he cried harder, trying to figure out how to use the gun.
"Four" he looked around and noticed almost everyone was here.
"Three" his heart soared when he cocked the gun, he glanced at Simon who had accepted that he was going to die.
"You're next, her next plaything." Simon said to him with fear and warning in his voice
"Two" her soft voice reached his ear.
"This will be your end" Simon's light brown eyes were red and dilated.
"One" Mayowa wasn't sure he wanted to live with the guilt of killing a person.
"Do it!" He heard chinonso yell and on cue he fired. His hand and eyes burned as the black pistol fell from his hand.
"Good boy" Sam said and Mayowa burst into tears.
"Clean this sh*t up, I don't want blood on my f*cking floor" she said with an air of authority and walked out, hitting him by the shoulder.
Mayowa glanced at an unmoving Simon and the blood pooled by the left side of his chest...where his beating heart should be.
