Lesson time
Lovelyn eventually came back after her friend Ronke persuaded her, she decided to do it for love.
On getting there, Dapo travelled to Abuja for a business meeting with some of their companies investors, Mama Dapo was very happy , she said opportunity to teach her good lessons.
Lovelyn, Mama Dapo called out you are supposed to kneel with your two legs to greet me and all your husband's to be siblings, that is Yoruba culture. I know Igbo's doesn't have respect.
Lovelyn felt insulted, but she let it slide and apologized to the mama.
How old are you , Mama Dapo asked am 28years ma, go and relax a little, I will tell Dara to bring the drafted one week timetable for you.
The next day, Dara brought the timetable as early as 6:30am, that day task was easy for Lovelyn, she was to cook 3 different soup, then Clean up the house.
She did that, Time to taste the food came, She confidently brought the food to the dining, the 3soups where very salty, Mama Dapo rained inult on Lovelyn to the extent she was crying . Knowing rightfully that it was Dara that added extra salt to the soup
Days went by with different task and different issues with each of them daily, the last day, Mama Daramola made Lovelyn washed all her clothes and even Dara and her kids own and also told Taiwos pregnant wife to bring her dirty clothes, Lovelyn did all the work.
The next day , Lovelyn was about to return home, Mama Dapo told her you did well in all the test, I was waiting for you to complain or insulted me, or even tell Dapo, I had CCTV cameras everywhere to record everything you did here, you are free to marry my son.
Two of you should sit down to pick a date to see your people, NO TIME TO WASTE TIME
After 3 weeks , Dapo's Family went to see Lovelyn's family and they picked a date for the wedding.
After the wedding, Dapo moved to his new apartment, his mom wasn't happy because she was going to miss him, then Dapo told her mom, it's still your house feel free to come anytime you like as long as you want.
