Alex, walking towards the school gate felling rejectged and frustrated. I don't know where should I go from here now, mama should be at the market now,he said guessing with his fingers. As he move faster to the gate a girl voice call him.
Alex! Alex!! Louder this time,Alex...!!!, Alex turn back and saw Jenny is best friend and class mate running to him.what is the matter jenny, don't tell me you have not pay your fees because I saw your Dad when he came to pay for you.jenny with a shaking voice said, I have paid, but I can't stay in the class if you are not around. No no no, jenny please go back to the class, by the way how did you come out from the class without the teacher noticing you? Please Alex stop asking me all this questions and allow me to go with you,jenny said pleading with Alex . Jenny please try and understand, you are the only daughter of your parents and they suffered just to give you the best education, you can't leave the class just like that because of me, please Jenny try to understand. Jenny with serious tears in her eyes said, since you don't want me to go with you come and share my food with me.but I have my food with me Alex answered immediately. Alex why is it that you find it difficult to love me the way I have loved you, my tears don't shake your spirit and my words don't matter to you.since our jss1 till now, I have been trying my best to let you know how much I love you but you don't seems to know.
Alex please think very well on what I'm telling you, and see if you have same feelings as I do.as she quickly open Alex palm and put a a written note on Alex's on it then hurried back to the class.Alex open the note and some money fell from it and it was boldly written in the note COMPLETE YOUR FEES,PLEASE DON'T SAY NO.Alex bent down and picked the money, with confusion written all over his face, he went back to the class room and clear his debt.
Jenny never look at him again till after school,Alex went to thank her.she said to Alex you are welcome and then acting as if nothing happened earlier told her driver to move on, as the car zoomed off leaving Alex in thinking condition.
Jenny smiling and laughing said to herself, it her time Alex tell me that he loves me he can't keep on hiding it in his heart and writing it at the center of his note book.
