still on merciless injustice
“bye…………”, Andrian made a face at me.
Not so soon. I stamped my feet and spat out a ‘word’ to him. The ‘word’ I hope should change the course of his life forever, just as he had changed mine, except he repent. Then, as for me. I want to disappear with no trace, just like my parents did. I want to be cut off from this life and its shackles, from the eighty percent of gloomy days and the twenty percents of bright days
. I don’t care anymore, I want to die, I want to be forgotten and be gone. What sins have I committed to deserve this life? Any innocent sins in questions? Well………
Just then, my energetic friend sprouts up again. This time, it didn’t talk, it slowly leads me to a narrowed path opposite the Ojos compound. I walked farther and farther, until, I found a folded old mat and a creaky bench. I chose the creaky bench instead of the mat. For I feared that, it might be easy for a deadly gnome to trample upon me, if I lie on the mat in such an open place. They visit the central stream in my village,every last night of the year , all clad in strange apparels. If gnomes are not in Lagos then I would be lucky this night. If thieves or armed robbers or kidnappers pass by, how would I do it? What would I do? At this juncture, I believed that the night wouldn’t pass peacefully and smoothly, without ‘something’ happening

. Before I finally close my eyes in self pity and not in sleep. FEAR pierced through my heart, it starts to inhabit my every thoughts.
Against all odds, a smile cracked my dry lips opened, if it is the spirit of FEAR that has inhabited me alone, then let it be. It seems milder, tolerable and weight-free!
