Destiny Revealed - Episode 23
After the incident with precious I tried every possible best to avoid her, and also obey her just to avoid trouble.
Chief Mrs on the other hand has been a very busy woman always travelling Here and there, and most of the time she use to be home is mainly weekend, Saturdays and Sundays, and those two days use to be very hot for all the workers cus she will make sure she shake the house…..
As usual she was at home on this very Saturday together with precious, they were both in the sitting room, chief mrs was reading a magazine and precious was pressing her phone as usual…
Me, mama Femi, Nkechi and joke were all present in the kitchen that very day, we had no work to do so we just sat round the dinnning table gisting when we heard chief Mrs call joke .
Chief Mrs: Joke!! Joke!!
On hearing joke we all tapped her cos she was sleeping placing her head on the dinning table…she quickly woke up adjusted herself and ran to the sitting room…
Joke: Yes ma’am.
Chief Mrs:And what took u decades to get here ehn?
Joke: Am sorry ma, was actually sleeping..
Chief Mrs: I see, so becuase you guys don’t have anything to do, that’s why you have the gut to sleep abi, is that what I employed you for,to sleep?
Joke: I could sense fear in her voice…. No ma’am.
Me, mama Femi and Nkechi on the other hand was listening to the conversation with fear, except for mama Femi that was not bothered with the way chief Mrs was ranting, cos even chief Mrs herself so much respect mama femi, no one has ever disrespected her….
Mama Femi broke the silence in the kitchen….
Mama Femi: And why is the two of you shaking like jelly fish?
Nkechi: Ah, mama you know how chief Mrs is, she might want to punish us for joke mistake except you, so we have every right to panick for the worst…..
Mama Femi: You are right… But being nervous won’t help…she said and placed her head back on the dinning…I just stood still waiting for the next action….
Chief Mrs: You this fool, just take yourself to the kitchen and bring two glasses of fruit juice… Mtcheew… She hissed….
On hearing that I was a bit relieved and I could see that Nkechi was also relieved, mama Femi just smiled and placed her head back on the table….
Joke: Yes ma…she ran to the kitchen… She quickly placed two glass cups on the tray and I helped her get the juice from the refrigerator… Off she went to the sitting room served the drink and came back to the kitchen…..
Joke: This chief Mrs ehn, I hate it whenever she is around….
Nkechi: No be only you o…
Mama Femi was just smiling at their conversation, and I didn’t even bother to contribute…
Joke and Nkechi was still complaining when we heard precious phone ring, we all know her ringing tone….
