At the bus stop. Fortunately for us a bus was beckoning on passengers. It was remaining just two passengers for the bus to get filled. As the bus conductor was shouting "Enugu! Okigwe! Enugu! Okigwe, two chance".
We rushed in and sat down.
Inside the bus, I started thinking about school again. I had mixed feelings.
In  one moment I got excited, in another moment I got unhappy . But the main thing that got me happy was that at last I'm now an undergraduate after a long time of waiting. Omg! In fact as a matter of few minutes I will be in school and break free from the bondage and captivity of my Mum. You should know what I meant by that.
Oh! I didn't tell you how protective and strict my Mum could be. As a matter of fact, I don't go out to visit my friends when she is at home. But now I have liberty and freedom waving at me.

"Everybody get ready to come down". The bus conductor said.
My goodness! I was already at the school car park. We alighted from the bus.

At the school entrance, I couldn't help looking at the exterior. The well decorated flowers planted side by side on the way of every corner of the school gave it an exquisite look.

I saw the inscription "WELCOME TO............ THE CITADEL OF LEARNING.
Hmm, guess you want to know the name of my school? Let's leave that for now.

" Stop there, open your bags

. What level are?". Too many questions coming from the security men at the school get.
The interrogations were much and it got me pissed of. But we made our way to the administration block anyways.

At the administration block, it was like a queue to heaven abi a queue to hell. Na dem sabi. What I know was that there were many fresher's on the queue waiting to be attended to.

All thanks to my sister as she managed to pave her way through.
I finished my registration and everything even before those that came before me.

It was time to say goodbye to my sister. We hugged each other.
"Be a good girl". Cynthia said and left.
I did my old wriggle dance with all excitement. University here I come!

At my faculty block, where I went to look around. I saw a young girl sitted all alone and was crying.
" Hello, I'm Precious. I said as I approached her. "Why are you crying? I asked.
" I'm Ruth. She replied in a low voice.
"I miss my Mum. She said wiping her tears.
Awww! "You must be mum's girl. I said touching her cheeks and consoling her.
She smiled. "That's the spirit. I said.
We became friends. It happened that we were in the same faculty.
After much chit chatting, I felt hungry.
"Let's go and have something to eat. I said.
"Why not, I'm very famished. Ruth replied.
The two friends made their way to the school canteen.
