Love I saw at the Lagos continental hotel ( plot 52 kofo Abayomi street Victoria island, Victoria island, Nigeria.)

So the gist came that segun had been working in that same hotel as a receptionist, and now at that same table segun made a living; was an angry woman who seem to be almost crying. She looked confused, by what exactly?

Apparently the only person who could know that was the woman who now wears segun's old uniform.

"Where is the room key" she barked.

"Please calm down" the receptionist pleaded, "it's not in our policy to give the room key to another person without instructions from the room's occupant".

"Please am his fiancee, I was tipped anonymously that he is here with someone else.  I am a woman like you, imagine you wore my shoes"

The receptionist was adamantly in control of the conversation, ethical, blunt, direct and polite was how she explained why she can't be of help.

" MA! Please, this is a customer Right violation . I can't lose my job over sympathy. "

We saw torrents of tears rolling down the woman's eyes.

" Fine! I will wait till he comes out, whenever that may be" she was determined.

She sat, but the receptionist didn't let her sit. Was she about to lose her job? We will soon see.

The lady rushed upstairs, traced the room number. He had booked a "superior room", imagine the audacity!

Who is the lady he is cheating with, that he willing to break the bank for her.

"Their bank".

Wait oh! It was the same room, the same room! The exact one they had first met, why would he do this to her. Her steps increased, her heartbeat was visible in the stunning blue Georgio Armani dress she wore.

The same one "he" had bought her with the promise of never hurting her. She had reached the brown door, should she knock? No! She wants to push the door and catch the "bastard" in the act.

What will it change? She has resolved to protect the dignity she had, especially when she didn't know what to expect.

She was to knock when she noticed the door was open, there she was in the same room she had met the "cheat".

It still looked the same, the AC, king-size bed, mini bar, everything.

She was still thinking when he walked into the room from the bathroom, he bent down and got on one knee, and pulled out the small box from his suit pocket.

" What's going on?"

The man in front of her was proposing not cheating as she believed.

"Segun what's going on"?

" Will you marry me"? This was all planned to get that reaction from you, so I can make this memorable. So I can promise you that what you thought was happening, will never happen, because I want to be your friend and husband. I will never hurt you!

" YES"!
