What do we do?

     What do we do??

1.       Seconds turn into minutes
           Minutes into hours
           Hours into days
           Days to weeks
           Then months
           Years!!!
           And I keep wondering what the future
           The coming generation will be like
           The young they say shall grow
           The youth are the leaders of tomorrow

           Our tomorrow  lies in the hands of the young
           generation
           But don't they also say,  that the past Dosent matter?
           That It is gone and cannot be changed?
           And that the future depends on the present ;
           What is being done  now.
           Then I ask a simple question people;
           What is being done now??

2.        For if now,  in the present,  there is still corruption,
           manipulation,  in equality of the law,  frustration
           among the masses
           Agitation of the poor,
           Destruction of the economy by our so called
           "Political elites"- looters of the economy.
           Oil vandalism and brutalism
           Kidnapping,  tax evasion
           Healthcare in the mud
           Our schools,  universities and institutions in terrible
           conditions
           Frustration among the youth,  leading to cultism,
           drug abuse
           Lack of employment,  causing robbery and terrorism
3.        Ignorance!  the worst disease ever!!
           For our people really do suffer from lack
           of knowledge
           Lack of wisdom
           Ignorance
           The poor are being exploited everyday
           Elections being rigged.  The ignorant fellow;
           assisting to get peanuts from those seeking evil
           What about our brothers in the north? Shooting
           and killing themselves for 'no just cause'
           Shedding and wasting the blood of the innocent
           Innocent cries I hear,  innocent babies loosing their
           Fathers,  women being raped,  mothers burying their
           Sons!
           My heart bleeds,  every time I hear of the sad news
           of terrorism
           For the fight is not needed.
           Our people really do perish for lack of knowledge
           So then I ask,  What do we do?
