Untamed Emotions

Entangled in the web of emotional torture
she shouted silently at her shadow
her face pinned from the heavenlies
down the alley of what was left to be called life
The stars were dark with the moon shinning
the hot wind blew up her unpacked hair
covering her face like a fallen palm tree
Like a boiling ice at snow fall
tears rolled down her cheek at intervals
her heart pierced with sweet pains
like the arm of Christ at Golgota
With a rainy harmattan season
she drifted away like the morning dew on bambara leaves
leaving an untold vacuum in my heart...
