My Threshold

He saw me last night,  during one of my weak episodes,  he was so desperate to take out the feelings from me,  the one that's been hunting me,  agonizing memories of untold pain,  the one I've succeeded to hide beautifully until he saw me last night.

He felt the anguish in my words as I said "darling I'm fine",  I'd be OK, it's just another down moments,  yet he refused to let me sink... I saw desperation in his eyes and for once I knew life truly have many meanings,  you don't give up when it's hurting.

He saw me vulnerable last night, and he wondered How on earth would somebody be capable of hurting me that much.. . His words were soothing,  it dislodged the rising bulge in my chest, he helped me breath in alien beautiful feelings.

It's ironic how life can give you a spur moment of true happiness in between hurts, thank you for the medicine last night,  it was pure overdose, I'd wish to be sedated by you often...I've had series of nightmares but last night I slept peacefully.
