Hunger Virus

I heard of a disease 

An incredible virus

A traveller of air

It came with venomous fangs

Ready to eat anyone it see

So what happened 

Reality Shocked me 

Schools closed

Businesses shutdown 

Shops closed

Olympics and other events  postponed

Even football, it like a tragedy movie

Full with horror scenes 

Unfolding it self

It came to Nigeria

Tearing people  apart

People  shops closed down

No talk of Bet najia 

But new talk is

Hunger virus

I thought it was Corona virus

But I learnt  a lesson from Nigeria 

Coronavirus killed  people  of

great influence and higher places

While hunger virus killed people of

Lower  values, lower ranks

It pursued  people from houses

There is not enough pallatives 

So I began to ask questions

Then I was told

It was Greater 

It was  worked 

It was terrible 

People are hungry 

That why they are robbing 

The society is breaking down  by

Two illness

So I try to unravel  the package mystery 

But the answer was hunger virus 

It was epidemic

It is worse than the  pandemic

It was hunger!
