Pierced Rose - Episode 70

 

Kevin's body was still being held at the police morgue. The police still had a long way to go with the investigations but unfortunately it was proved Isabelle wasn't in her right sense of mind when she planned Reginah's kidnapping..
It was proven that she had obsessive love disorder which was triggered by an attachment disorder called Reactive attachment disorder that seemed to develop from an experience from her childhood. Her parents were always busy with work and that made her to always have possessive thoughts and actions to the person she thought she loved and in this case it was Brad.
So her case was dismissed and she was immediately admitted to Proxy hospital in North London where she was to begun her therapy and treatment.. That was not the kind of justice that Reginah dreamt off but her health was the priority. She wished Isabelle would rot in jail but it seems she had her own plates of problems....
The police also found out from Isabelle  that she got to know about Kevin through Maggie's and Mary's conversation in the school's washroom where Maggie was narrating the whole story to Mary...
Therefore Isabelle went ahead to search for Kevin who she found hiding from the Police in the interior part of Kakamega. Since he hated Reginah it wasn't hard to convince him to kill her and in exchange receive two million shillings cash.. Plus he was always on the other side of the law and so killing Reginah was as simple as reading ABCD..They planned the kidnapping and unfortunately the plan blew up right on their faces.....
Anthony also went ahead and booked  therapy sessions for her little girl since she had gone through a lot of trauma working as a stripper and the kidnapping scenario...

Two weeks passed by and everyone's life  seemed to move on smoothly apart from Brad who seemed to be mourning the dead..Reginah was still ignoring him and to make matters worse she has blocked him in all her social media accounts... He preferred to be dead than live a life without Reginah..
Lucky Jayson he was crushing at her place and so he saw her every time he wished to... But Brad wasn't the type to give up and so he came up with a plan that was gonna make Reginah eventually forgive her..
"Are you seriously going to spend the night outside Reginahs apartment??" Patience asked shockingly..
"Yes and please don't try to stop me cause I won't listen to you..." Brad retorted..
"Who said I was gonna stop you??? Go ahead and do it maybe you will man up and stop acting all childish.." Patience rolled her eyes taking a bite from her apple..
"Patience be nice, Brad has been through a lot. Instead of reprimanding please try and support him.." Kara  requested..
"Auntie I bet you are the one not letting him grow up... Do you know that Reginah wanted to tell him about it during the party but I stopped her because it was in the place of his mother to tell him.  Poor girl Isabelle beat her into it and kidnapped her.."
"What???" Brad and his mother asked in unison...
"Brad I thought you two were close, she didn't tell you that she was the one who made the truth get exposed during the party. Poor baby boy..." Patience teased him...
"And how did you know???" Kara asked..
"She apparently confessed it to Reginah when she had her captive..."
"Just great, I wish she would at least speak to me.. I wish she would just forgive me..." Brad lamented playing with his fingers.
"Then go sleep outside her apartment..." Patience placed the remaining piece of apple on his hand," There is no food outside her apartment. This might help.."
"So mean Patience, so mean.. I thought we were on the same team.."
"No Brad Honey you are in your own team..."
Brad finally got into his plan of sleeping outside Reginah's apartment on the wet grass.. The first and the second day she truly ignored him thinking he would go away but the third day her heart couldn't handle it..
"Siz just forgive him or do you want him to freeze to death???" Carlos asked.
"Of course not but what he did was unforgivable.."
"But I forgave him, I think you too should.." Jayson backed Carlos up...
"How could you forgive him Jayson and he is the reason you wont be participating in the upcoming race???"
"We are dudes we don't keep grudges plus it was Kevin who shot me not Brad..." Jayson tried putting sense into her head..
"Maybe you are right, maybe I am being too hard on him.." Reginah said biting her nails nervously.. Was she being too hard on him???

"Brad come inside before you freeze to death out there..." She called him out and Brad couldn't believe his ears. Was that truly his chocolate girl???
"I knew you would forgive me...I am sorry for doing what I did.." Brad held her hands," I don't ever wanna lose you...I love you so much and for the past three weeks I wasn't myself. You are my motivation Riri, my reason for living..."
Reginah was tempted to hug him so tight and plaster his face with kisses but she wasn't gonna make that easy for him..
"Okay, let's go inside..." Reginah begun walking when Brad held her hand," I am not getting back to that house until you forgive me...I know I messed up big time but I need my baby back..."
"Do you think I want this Brad?? I love you more than anything in the world but due to your poor decision making skills I almost lost Jayson. All I wanted is for you to trust me, to chose me, to hold my hand so as we could overcome that together, to be by your side during that moment but you chose Isabelle and saw me as an enemy...." Reginah hadn't realised her face was wet with tears....
"I wanna make things right baby. I wanna prove to you that I am still the man you fell in love with..."
Reginah begun yelling pointing at him," I want a man who appreciates me, a man who choses me, a man who always got my back, a man who will be there when I fall, a man who loves my flaws...I know what it feels when your father betrays you or has another family but do you think I would want that for you??" Then suddenly her voice was low and shaky," But you are right about one thing no matter what you do, I will always love you. And the past three weeks have been the worse days of my life. When I needed you the most you were not there, I needed you to assure me everything would be fine, hug me, kiss...."
Before she could complete her statement, Brad pulled her for a deep passionate kiss.
"I love you Reginah, the girl who insulted me when we first met, the girl who chased my night stand away and the girl who makes my world complete. The girl I will always choose..." Brad wrapped her in his arms and Reginah felt her anger being blown away. She was where she needed to be...
She snaked her arms around his neck as they shared a fiery long passionate kiss under the stars, finally everything fell into place....
